WorkSafeBC Occupational First Aid - Level 3

The Occupational First Aid (Level 3) will teach trainees to:

• Perform 2 operators CPR and CPR during transport.
• Stabilize protruding eye injuries.
• Provide treatments for penetrating chest injuries.
• Use tourniquets appropriately.
• Immobilize lower limb fractures and dislocations.
• Manage limb threatening injuries.
• Rule out spinal injuries by conducting range of motion tests.
• Perform multi-person lifts for transport.

The students are required to be at least 16 years of age. This program is a 2 week program. The certification is valid for 2 years.

This program is offered on-site and also available at our training site.
